Mayor Jim Mylchreest (left) was the guest of honour at Cambridge Oaks recently, touring the Terrace apartments and enjoying lunch with staff and residents. The retirement village’s 1- 3-bedroom houses on Swayne Rd all fall within Mayor Mylchreest’s threshold of affordable housing, set between $249,000 to $649,00. It is expected that there will be 80 residents living at Cambridge Oaks by Christmas.
